Mass Order
The Order of the Mass in the Roman Catholic Latin Rite is the official structure for the celebration of the Eucharist, divided into four main parts.
- Introductory Rites: Gathers the community, welcomes the people, and prepares them to pray.
- Liturgy of the Word: Features readings from the Bible, a sermon (homily), and the shared profession of faith.
- Liturgy of the Eucharist: Includes the preparation of the bread and wine, the great Eucharistic Prayer, and the reception of Holy Communion.
- Concluding Rites: Offers a final blessing and sends the people forth to live their faith.
