What is World Youth Day?
- An International Pilgrimage: Initiated by Saint John Paul II in 1985, WYD is a week-long gathering that brings together millions of young people from every corner of the earth.
- A Deep Encounter: More than a trip or a tour, it is a spiritual journey focused on prayer, the sacraments, catechesis, and celebrating Mass with the Pope.
